Summer 2023 Summer School Courses
SJCS will be offering two “for-credit” classes this summer, Economics and Government, for those who prefer to free up their schedule during the school year. All students are required to take these classes some time before graduation. See the following information about these summer classes and register at the specific link provided for each class. Please note the grade restrictions and the dates and times the classes will meet on campus. Because of the condensed nature of these courses, there is very little flexibility in attendance requirements. Students must attend all classes. If you have any questions, please contact the teacher directly.
You will need to use your SJCS Chromebook for these courses. Special arrangements will be made for this and information will be communicated later by Mrs. Cummings.
The $400 fee per course will be billed to your school account and payable in April. $100 of the fee will be non-refundable for any course dropped after April 30. Textbook purchase is on your own. Space is limited in each class, so don’t delay. We will close the link if a class is full, after taking several names on a waiting list. If you do not hear from me within several days, you can assume you have a spot in the class.

Students must remain current on national events.
