SJCS Swimmers Chosen For GN All-Upstate Team

Three SJCS swimmers were selected to The Greenville News All-Upstate high school teams for the 2024 season.

Sophomore Bella Stewart and freshman Odette Brown, who helped the St. Joe's girls to the Class 3A state title (the first South Carolina High School League state championship in the history of the program), were chosen for the first and second team, respectively.

Bella made the first team after placing first in the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke events and swimming on the Knights' first-place 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams.

Odette took first in the 100 freestyle, second in the 200 individual medley and also was on both the winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams.

Sophomore Jack Weston, named to the All-Upstate boys second team, helped the Knights to a state-runner-up finish by taking second in the 200 freestyle, third in the 100 freestyle and participating on the state-runner-up 400 freestyle relay team.

Congratulations to Bella, Odette and Jack!
