Following All-School Mass this morning, the seniors on the SJCS Varsity football team presented Coach Nash with a special ball in honor of his first victory as head coach -- the Knights' 40-30 win over Cardinal Newman on Friday, August 23.
Coach Nash said what made the victory extra special was the manner in which the team won, having to dig deep and rally from a 17-7 halftime deficit.
It was clear that the presentation was equally significant.
"I'm humbled," he said.
