Saint Joseph's Catholic School held its Middle School Retreat on Wednesday, October 11.
Mr. Jacob Kiser planned and facilitated the event, and he and Mrs. Crosby led the singing of "Lean on Me" to begin the morning. Mrs. J led the students in prayer and then led them as they participated in the "Telephone Game," in which messages are whispered from person to person and then the original and final messages are compared.
The students went from station to station throughout the morning, with Coach Kucinic and Coach Julian, Mr. Patrick Martin, Dr. Bolchoz and Ms. Smith having prepared retreat sessions, as well as an outdoor station for crab soccer.
It was a morning during which the students were able to sing, pray, play, listen and learn.
