SJCS Students Earn National Merit, College Board Recognition
Asher Wynn, Adam Balts and Christopher Suarez have been named National Merit Semifinalists out of a class of 105 seniors.
Ranked in the top one percent of the nation’s high school students, Adam, Christopher and Asher will be notified in February of their standing as Finalists.
The National Merit Scholarship Program, a privately financed academic competition for recognition and scholarships, bases its awards on high school students' results on the PSAT.
The following students are past recipients and new additions to the National Recognition Program. Awards include National African American Recognition, National Hispanic Recognition, National Indigenous Recognition and Rural and Small Town Recognition.
