The SJCS Varsity boys basketball team opens its season by hosting a tournament for the first time.
The first Langan Preseason Tournament will be Monday and Tuesday, with the first round featuring McCormick taking on Southside Christian at 5:30 PM Monday and the Knights playing the Greenville Hurricanes at 7:00.
The losers of the first-round games will play at 5:30 PM Tuesday, with the winners meeting at 7:00.
The tournament is named for longtime SJCS basketball booster Dr. Gene Langan.
The Knights' games in the tournament, as are all SJCS home athletic events in the gym and stadium (basketball, football, lacrosse, soccer and volleyball) will be livestreamed and can be found HERE.
LANGAN PRESEASON TOURNAMENT BRACKET
Girls Basketball
The SJCS Varsity girls basketball team will open its season by playing in the Byrnes Lady Rebel Shot Clock Tournament Monday and Tuesday.
The Knights will begin by taking on Catawba Ridge at 6:00 PM Monday. Brashier Middle College and Byrnes will play in the other first-round game at 7:30. The losers will play at 6:00 PM Tuesday, with the winners then playing at 7:30.
Digital ticket links are HERE for Monday and HERE for Tuesday. There will be NO CASH at the gates. Cash options will be in the Byrnes HS main office lobby from 12:00-2:30 PM Monday. Tickets at the door will be digital (through Hub City Locker, the digital link) or purchased with a credit card or debit card.
Spectators should refer to the MAP for parking instructions and locations.
