SJCS Class of 2024 Experiences Annual Red Door Ceremony
St. Joseph’s Catholic School held its annual Spring Red Door Ceremony on Thursday, May 9. Following the High School Academic Awards, parents created a tunnel beginning in the Commons and cheered as each member of the Class of 2024 exited the Red Door.
The Red Door was brought from the original, small house on Augusta Road that first opened to St. Joe’s students in 1993.
The Fall Red Door Ceremony is for rising freshmen and newcomers as they begin their high school experience at St. Joe’s.
The Spring Red Ceremony signifies the end of the high school experience for the seniors, when, as Founding Board Chair Margaret Ann Moon said, they are graduates who “are destined to change the world.”
