Students Attend National Men of Color Summit
Ten SJCS students attended the Clemson University Men of Color National Summit Tuesday and Wednesday at the Greenville Convention Center.
Chris Johnson, Brayden Johnson, Dominik Leon-Osorio, Daniel Leon-Osorio, Jaylen Townsend, Lucas Salgado, Liam Montes, Daniel Cantu. Daniel Hernandez and Addis Carpenter represented St. Joseph's at the Summit, where the stated mission is "to close the opportunity gap for African American and Hispanic males, from cradle to career."
The event gathers high school and college students, business professionals, educators, government officials and community leaders from around the country.
