Carrs Enjoy 'Trip of a Lifetime' on Summer Journey to Egypt
Mr. and Mrs. Carr traveled to Egypt during the summer for a Teachers Convention. Teachers from across the country met and discussed student travel issues in the coming years and how to enhance students' experiences. Post-pandemic travel and safety issues were also key topics of discussion.
As a teacher of AP Art History, Mrs. Carr has had Egypt on her bucket list for years, and Mr. Carr also loves the history in the country. During their 10-day trip, they visited Cairo, Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut's Tomb and took a cruise up the Nile to Aswan.
"It was truly a trip of a lifetime," Mrs. Carr said. "Hopefully we can take students one day."
