As seniors, Kimmie Thompson and Maggie Patterson helped the St. Joseph's volleyball team return to the top of the mountain, leading the Knights to their 10th state championship in the last 11 years.
Their performance was rewarded with their selection as first-team members of the 2021-22 All-Upstate Volleyball Team -- two of just eight players chosen from The Greenville News, Spartanburg Herald-Journal and Anderson Independent-Mail coverage area that was loaded with talent this past season.

Looking ahead, The Greenville News previewed this coming season in Greenville County and listed three St. Joe's players among those to watch: senior Emily Normand and juniors Grace Dumont and Lillie Hecker. St. Joe's also is highlighted as one of the three teams to watch.
