SJCS rising senior Camille Ferguson and Sara Gushue (’21) participated in this past week’s Educational Theatre Association’s 2021 virtual International Thespian Festival (ITF).
Both Camille and Sara received “Superior” ratings in their International Thespian Excellence submissions at the SC Thespian Festival this spring in the Makeup Design and Stage Management categories, respectively, and they competed in these events at ITF.
In addition, the SJCS student-directed one act, Waiting for the Bus, directed by Sara Gushue, was presented representing South Carolina in the Chapter Select Showcase. Cast members Andrew Walajtys (’21), Sarah Poteat, Lyle Jones, and Isabel Moran and the work of Stage Managers Emma Cumby and Juanita Rodriguez are featured in this production.
