Mrs. Carr Chosen to Serve With Bill of Rights Institute

Mrs. Meby Carr has been selected to serve on the Teacher Council of the Bill of Rights Institute, an organization based in Arlington, Virginia.

For more than 20 years, the Bill of Rights Institute has been designing classroom-ready, constitutional, principle-based lessons, and supporting educators with engaging events.

The Teacher Council will work on lesson plans and projects utilized by teachers across the country as part of the Bill of Rights Institute teacher training and programs. The council also provides feedback to the BRI on its programs.

The council, which will meet monthly, is a diverse group of 20 to 25 educators, each of whom will serve a one-year term that will run from August 1, 2022 through July 31, 2023. They were chosen from among more than 100 teachers who applied for this prestigious honor.
