SJCS Students Participate in Diocesan Youth Camp

Several SJCS students attended the Diocese of Charleston's Christian Leadership Institute this past week at Camp Kinard in Batesburg-Leesville.

Along with current students, SJCS graduates Sylvia Kucinic (2023), Meghan Spikings (2023), Murph Ivey (2025), Mariana Cantu (2026), Elasayd Okuley (2026) and Annette Plyler (2026) also participated in the high school diocesan youth camp.

CLI is a five-day experience for high school students from across the state. They come together with adult ministers to foster leadership and development skills to produce Christian leaders for schools, parish youth programs and communities.

High School CLI is designed for youths entering grades 9-12 who are now or will be in a parish, school or diocesan leadership role.
