Cup of Joe's, the student-run coffee shop in The Founders Saint Joseph's Way Center, officially opened for business on the morning of Monday, October 6.
The coffee shop is under the leadership of faculty advisors Mr. Fowler and Mr. Meyerhofer and its student president, senior Ava Wright. Its window for customers to give orders is in the commons. The window inside Barbara McGrath Hall will only be used when they are catering an event, as was the case with Open House.
MySchoolBucks is up and running and beginning Tuesday will be the primary method of payment. Credit and debit cards also are accepted, but the shop is officially CASHLESS. Drinks range from $2.50 to $5.00.
For the record, Mrs. J purchased the first cup and had the first sip of coffee.
As for hours of operation, Cup of Joe's is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:15-9:15 AM and Wednesday from 9:15-10:15 AM.
