Spirit Week: From Donuts to Dancing for a Cause

Spirit Week: From Donuts to Dancing for a Cause

The weather wreaked a little havoc this year, shifting plans a bit, but the Saint Joseph's Catholic School community rallied and put together a hugely successful Holy Spirit Week.

The week kicked off with the Winter Pep Rally that featured a Coach Nash-dominated donut-eating contest; a new hairstyle for Mr. Regan; and a dazzling faculty-staff dance.

Coach K was crowned Mr. Knight in the faculty and staff-staff contest, and the dress-down day winners were as follows: Meme, Tristan Bryant; Retro, Serene Carmack; Musician, Lincoln Davis; and Stages of Life, William Curran.

There was a movie night, karaoke, chopped competition, sports tournaments and much more, capped by Saturday night's dance.

House points, according to money raised, were awarded as follows: Romero, 100; Molla, 200; Bakhita, 300; and Drexel, 400.

The bottom line, and most important: A total amount of $17,627.44 was raised for St. Clare's Home (click HERE to see reveal), which will be used to help the mothers with their transportation needs for work and more.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed and made it a wonderful week for St. Joseph's and St. Clare's Home!
