Our very own Mr. Rod McClendon was honored as Best Actor in a Drama/Comedy at Greenville Theatre's Joanne Woodward Awards on Saturday night.
Mr. McClendon, the school's Fine Arts Director and librarian, was recognized for his performance as Morrie in Tuesday's with Morrie, the stage adaptation of Mitch Albom's best-selling memoir.
It's a true story that follows a young man’s weekly meetings with his dying former college professor, Morrie Schwartz, who has ALS.
