Mack Rambo Nominated for Bridge Builder Award

SJCS junior Mack Rambo is among the South Carolina Football Hall of Fame's 2026 Bridge Builder Excellence Award nominees.

The awards, which recognize high school football players in the state for their work in the classroom, on the field and in their communities, are made possible by the support of the family of William B. Sturgis, Joe Bostic and Wyatt Law, P.A.

The top three nominees will be recognized at the 13th Annual Enshrinement Ceremony on April 16 at Hotel Hartness in Greenville.

Nominees are evaluated using the following weighted criteria:

  • Football excellence - 40%
  • Academics (minimum 3.2 core GPA) – 30%
  • Character, school and community citizenship, and leadership – 30%

Each nominee will receive a certificate of recognition and be invited to attend the #BBEA26Day Celebration on May 8 at the South Carolina Public Charter School District headquarters in Columbia.

In addition, the top 10 semifinalists will be invited to share their secrets to excellence and success on the SCFHOF Sports & Leadership Podcast with Chairman and Executive Director David Sanford Wyatt.

This year, the SCFHOF received an impressive 71 nominations from 50 high schools across South Carolina, highlighting the remarkable young leaders who are making a meaningful impact in their schools and communities while excelling through the game of football.
