Knights Qualify for Class 3A State Track Meet

A total of 18 members of the SJCS track and field team -- 11 boys and seven girls -- qualified for the Class 3A state meet with their performances in this past Saturday's District 2 qualifier at Woodruff High School.

The state meet is scheduled for Friday, May 15 at 5:00 PM at Spring Valley High School in Columbia.

Among the girls, Eva Cifuni (1600, 3200) qualified in multiple individual events. Among the boys, Sam Patterson (100, 200) qualified in more than one individual event.
