JV Girls Cruise Past First Presbyterian Academy

The SJCS Junior Varsity girls basketball team held First Presbyterian Academy scoreless for more than nine minutes and defeated the visiting Crusaders 38-10 on Tuesday night.

After First Pres Academy took a 5-2 lead with 2:25 left in the first quarter, the Knights went on a 14-0 run. The Crusaders did not score again until the 5:06 mark of the third quarter, when they hit a free throw to make it 16-6.

Lili Franek led the Knights with eight points, and Annabel Burress and Campbell McCart each scored six points.

Caroline Dora and Mia Lanza had four points apiece, Caroline Burress and Elizabeth McGehee each had three points and Maggie Miller and Angelly Estrella each had two points.
