Eva Cifuni Wins GN Athlete of the Week Vote

SJCS 8th-grader Eva Cifuni has won in voting for Greenville News Ingles high school girls athlete of the week for November 3-9.

At the Class 3A cross country state qualifier on The Farm course at Newberry College on Saturday, Eva -- who collected more than 64 percent of the votes cast -- won her race with a time of 19:25 and had the fastest time among all of those in the 3A qualifiers. She led the Knights to a first-place finish in the 3A Even race.
