SJCS 8th-Grader Eva Cifuni has been selected Class 3A Cross Country Runner of the Year for the second year in a row by the South Carolina Coaches Association of Women's Sports.
Eva will be honored with the other SCCAWS award winners -- including St. Joe's sophomore Odette Brown, the Swimmer of the Year -- at a Player of the Year Banquet on Wednesday, June 10 at The Cotton Press Wedding & Event Venue in Little Mountain.
Eva repeated as Class 3A state champion and established a 3A state-meet-record time of 18:02. She also repeated as Region 2 champion and finished third in the Greenville County championships.
