6th Grade Boys Finish Regular Season Unbeaten

The SJCS 6th grade boys basketball team edged visiting Spartanburg Prep 34-32 on Wednesday to finish the regular season undefeated.

The Knights (7-0) will play Christ Church in the semifinals of the conference tournament at 5:00 PM Friday at Spartanburg Day School.

If they win, they will advance to the championship game against the winner of the other semifinal between Southside Christian and Spartanburg Prep. The final will be played at Spartanburg Day at 6:30 PM Friday.

In the Knights' win over Spartanburg Prep, Carter Reinstein and Charlie Theodore each scored 11 points. Rawlings Francis had seven points, Ford Norris and Mills Nash each had two points and Benjamin Garcia had one point.

The previous day, Reinstein scored 11 points and the Knights knocked off visiting First Presbyterian Academy 40-26. Theodore and Connor O'Toole pitched in six and five points, respectively.

Francis, Nash and Andrew Copeland each had four points. Rhodes Powell had three points, Jack Remsberg had wo points and James Barker had one point.
