SJCS Grad Self-Publishes Book on Women in Their 20s

Mimi Tierney ('17) recently graduated from Teachers College Columbia University in New York City with a Master's degree in Studio Practice.

During her program, Mimi, an art teacher at West Ashley High School in Charleston, created a body of work and self-published a book titled 20-SOMETHINGS. The book explores the various life stages and titles women take on in their 20s as a way to make sense of this decade of change. The book is filled with letters, poems, watercolors, prints and more.
