Emma Getz ('21) Shares Her Experience in Chile

Emma Getz, a senior at Furman University and a 2021 SJCS graduate, visited Señora Russell's AP Spanish class recently to share her experience in Chile.

Emma, who is double majoring in Spanish and Art, spent a semester abroad in Chile and lived with a host family. 

"The presentation was entirely in Spanish and included so many interesting cultural facts," Señora Russell said. "My students really enjoyed it and showed great interest during the entire presentation.

"It was a real treat having Emma present to my students. She is not only very talented in Spanish, but she is very passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience traveling throughout Latin America. She might be back soon to share her experience with my Spanish II classes as well."
