At this year's Palmetto Dramatic Association/SC Thespian State Festival at Dreher High School in Columbia in February, the Palmetto Dramatic Association initiated a new award.
The Outstanding Theatre Educator Award was presented for the first time, and this year's recipient was Maury Reed, a 2005 graduate of St. Joseph's Catholic School, who leads the Theatre program at Pickens High School.
Congratulations to Maury on this tremendous honor!
