Dorian Lane Becomes Member of Prestigious Riley Fellows
We are proud to announce Dorian Lane's graduation from the 35th Upstate class of the Diversity Leaders Initiative (DLI).
Hosted by the Riley Institute at Furman University, the award-winning DLI program operates statewide to promote the power of diversity to help teams, organizations and communities thrive. Upon graduation, Coach Lane joined over 2,800 fellows across South Carolina -- including SJCS Head of School Keith Kiser -- who have proven themselves to be changemakers in their communities.

The 35th Upstate class of the DLI presented five community action projects of impact on Wednesday, May 29 at Furman's Younts Conference Center. The Riley Institute celebrates the accomplishments of these teams and welcomes them as the newest Riley Fellows.
Coach Lane was a member of the Bridge to Possibilities initiative, as outlined below.
Bridge to Possibilities is a new initiative dedicated to empowering students with special needs by providing critical information on opportunities available to them beyond school. In partnership with Greenville County Schools, Bridges to Possibilities will host a resource fair where students with special needs can explore a myriad of pathways to post-secondary education, vocational training, employment opportunities, and other resourceful programs that aid in their transition to the adult world after formal schooling. | Team members: Will Dillard, Jennifer Fouse Sheorn, Josh Kendrick, Dorian Lane, Shivani Nadarajah, Elizabeth Palmore, Lauren Payne, Matt Staab
