U.S. Air Force 1st Lieutenant Dan Veideman, a 2016 SJCS graduate, recently ended up in the cockpit with another St. Joe's grad, Major Michael "Goblin" Capelle ('03).
The two former Knights posed for a photo before flying an Air Force T-38C supersonic jet trainer out of Columbus Air Force Base in Columbus, Mississippi.
First Lieutenant Veideman just finished Air Force pilot training a few weeks ago and is keeping his flying currencies up before heading off to San Antonio, Texas, for an Intro to Fighter Fundamentals course in the T-38. Then he'll be off to Tucson, Arizona, to fly the F-16.
