Course Description:
This introductory course is designed to provide a survey of biological topics for college-bound students. The course will include units of study on the nature of life, basic taxonomic organization, plant structure and function, biochemistry, cell structure and function, ecological interrelationships, evolutionary theory, and an introduction to energy transformations and genetics. The course will focus on ecological interrelationships throughout the year.
