While Campus Ministry at Saint Joseph's cannot be reduced to any one person, group, or event, the Mission and Ministry team is dedicated in a particular way to educating students in their faith outside the classroom.
Gabe Lewis Director of Mission and Ministry
Gabe Lewis is the freshman theology teacher and the school’s Director of Mission and Ministry. Gabe has been with Saint Joseph's since 2013. He has been working in ministry since 2003, and holds degrees in classical humanities, philosophy, and psychology. He leads the GS group, Compadres, the Freshman trip, the New York Encounter trip, assists with the Kairos Retreat, and helps the school community respond to other ministry needs as they arise.
Fr. Jonathan Duncan Chaplain
Fr. Duncan is a priest of the diocese of Charleston who serves as the chaplain of Saint Joseph’s Catholic School, providing sacramental ministry to our students and staff. Fr. Duncan has been with the school since 2015 and additionally serves as Parochial Vicar of St. Mary’s, Greenville and Director of Spiritual Health at St. Francis Health System.
Leanne Koffskey
Assistant Director of Mission and Ministry, Theology Teacher
Leanne serves the school as Assistant Director of Mission and Ministry with particular focus on the House Program and teaches Theology of the Body to senior students. She holds an undergraduate degree in secondary religious education from the University of Dayton and a master’s degree in catechesis from Catholic University of America. She has worked in ministry in school and parish settings since 2012. Her passion for Catholic education started in the halls of Saint Joseph’s and she is grateful to be giving back to this community.
Jacob Kiser
Middle School Campus Minister
Jacob is a 2019 graduate from Saint Joseph's and he went on to study contemporary music independently, working as a contemporary worship leader at a local church for the last 5 years. He leads the school in contemporary worship during Thursday morning prayer, as well as leading Middle School GS and Breathe with Frank Kucinic. He is a Middle School football coach and has a passion for health and fitness encouraging formation of the whole student, body and spirit.
Frank Kucinic
Middle School Campus Minister, Theology Teacher
Frank has been a dedicated educator at Saint Joseph's since 2005. A graduate of West Virginia University, Frank taught Physical Education and Health for 15 years before taking on many different roles within the school. He has been teaching Theology since 2019, including serving as the religion teacher for the Sixth Grade Academy. Frank is also deeply involved in Campus Ministry, assisting with retreats, mission trips, and other faith-based initiatives. As the Dean of Drexel House, he works to help students have a positive school experience, grounded in the Charism of St. Katharine Drexel.
