The cost of higher education at both public and private institutions continues to escalate. Many of the more expensive schools can become affordable if there is sufficient financial need-based assistance available.

SC Business Week

South Carolina Business Week provides rising high school juniors, seniors, and college freshman an opportunity to interact with and learn about business through a hands-on experience.

U.S. Merchant Marine Academy

The best way for prospective candidates to get to know the United States Merchant Marine Academy is to attend an information session and tour.

Scholarships

National CCAA First-Year Scholarship

The National CCAA First-Year Scholarship is offered annually to college-bound high school seniors attending one of the National CCAA member institutions in the fall.

SC Higher Education Tuition Grants

Need-based grants awarded to eligible South Carolina residents attending, on a full-time basis, one of the 22 participating independent colleges and universities for a first baccalaureate degree.

NC State Summer Textile Exploration Program

Our Summer Textile Exploration Program (STEP) consists of five one-week sessions for rising high school seniors interested in learning about the textile industry, fashion, engineering, chemistry and marketing.

Rhodes College Summer Writing Institute

The Summer Writing Institute at Rhodes College takes place annually for two weeks during June and is a residential academic program committed to developing the critical thinking and writing skills of high school students.

National Leadership Challenge Weekend 2024

The University of North Georgia's Corps of Cadets will host National Leadership Challenge Weekend on March 22-24, 2024 for JROTC cadets and other high school students considering a college military program.
