The cost of higher education at both public and private institutions continues to escalate. Many of the more expensive schools can become affordable if there is sufficient financial need-based assistance available.

A faithful Catholic education can prepare students not only for a career, but for life. To get a taste of the value of a faithful Catholic education, high school students are encouraged to look at summer programs at the colleges recommended in The Newman Guide to Choosing a Catholic College.

Discover Duke

You and your family are invited to "Discover Duke." During this program, a Duke admissions officer will present information and answer questions about the university, the admissions process, financial aid, and much more.

ND on the Road

You and your family are invited to an ND on the Road event presented by Notre Dame Admissions on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM.

David M. Belk Scholarship

The David M. Belk Scholarship is Davidson College's flagship award, which provides comprehensive funding (tuition, fees, food, housing), plus $6,000 in special opportunity stipens to eight first-year students. 

Villanova's Presidential Scholars Program

Villanova's Presidential Scholars Program is a premier full scholarship program inspired by St. Augustine-- who pursued truth through faith, taught leadership through love and sought change through community.

Harry Hampton Memorial Wildlife Fund

The Harry Hampton Memorial Wildlife Fund provides scholarships for students interested in majoring in anything from wildlife management, marine science, natural resources, advertising, photojournalism, or law enforcement.

Many scholarships are accepting applications between September 11th, 2023, and November 13th, 2023.

National Leadership Challenge Weekend

The University of North Georgia's (UNG) Corps of Cadets will host National Leadership Challenge Weekend for high school students who are considering a military program in college. 

Roan Scholars Leadership Program

The Roan Scholars Leadership Program is a premier scholarship program at East Tennessee State University for students from across our region who have demonstrated the potential and the desire to become exceptional leaders. 

Miami University Bridges Program

The Miami University Bridges program has a focus on promoting diversity and provides high school seniors with an inside look at Miami through a variety of campus experiences where they engage with current students, faculty, and staff.

Claremont McKenna College Fall Preview Program

CMC will host a fall preview program for students from historically underrepresented communities who demonstrate academic excellence and genuine interest in exploring all that CMC has to offer.

Cornell Universtiy Precollege Studies Program

Students choose from dozens of three-week online undergraduate Cornell courses in the arts, business and hospitality, international relations, science and technology, veterinary medicine, and more.
