Handler Scholarship

The prestigious Alan and Jane Handler Scholarship is awarded to highly academically qualified students with substantial levels of financial need who have overcome significant obstacles in their lives.

Jefferson Scholars Foundation

The Jefferson Scholars Foundation attracts outstanding undergraduate students to the University of Virginia through two scholarship programs–the Jefferson Scholars Program and the Walentas Scholars Program.

The Johnson Scholarship

W&L's Johnson Scholarship recognizes and rewards students on the basis of academic achievement, demonstrated leadership and integrity, and their potential to contribute to the intellectual and civic life of the W&L campus and the world at large in years to come.

Danforth Scholars Program

Named in honor of William H. and Elizabeth Gray Danforth, the former WashU Chancellor and First Lady from 1971 to 1995, the program is a tribute to their exemplary leadership and service.
