The Mary Lou Foody Memorial Library and Media Center supports St. Joseph’s students in their pursuit of knowledge by providing a continually expanding collection of more than 12,000 items. Holdings include books and research materials relevant to our curriculum, a growing youth literature section, numerous weekly and monthly periodicals, daily subscriptions to local and national newspapers, on-line subscriptions to select academic sites such as Discus and JSTOR and a wide assortment of DVDs and CDs.
Library/Media Center Mission Statement
The Library/Media Center strives to support the overall school mission statement by:
- Providing both print and electronic resources suitable for classroom and research purposes
- Offering a warm, inviting and accessible space for students and teachers to read, study and research
- Continuously analyzing and updating the collection
- Anticipating future needs, especially as they relate to changing technologies
