World Language Course Offerings

Current SJCS students must have a 80 average or better to advance to the next level of a World Language. If a student has an average of 70-79, the student must make arrangements to meet with the Department Chairperson to discuss how to move forward. In most cases, summer improvement work and/or a placement test will be necessary to ensure the student is prepared for the next level. The World Language Chair must approve all summer programs.  The department strongly recommends that students take three years of the same World Language.
