Course Description:
This one-semester class focuses on understanding the physiological responses and adaptations to exercise by examining basic principles of physical fitness and exploring the human body systems, including the cardiovascular, muscular, respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems. Students are introduced to health issues such as cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and nutrition.
