Middle School English Teacher

Candidates must, at a minimum, possess a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate field, share a passion for working with young people, and embrace the mission and philosophy of the school. Strings Teacher

We are looking for a dedicated Strings Teacher to inspire and guide students of all levels, nurturing their musical growth and appreciation within our Catholic framework.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and deliver engaging string instrument curriculum (violin, viola, cello, bass).
  • Provide group instruction and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Prepare students for performances and musical events.
  • Collaborate with faculty to integrate music across the curriculum.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration.

Part-Time Event Security Officer

The Security Officer is responsible for providing security and student supervision during evening school events such as plays, concerts, athletic games, and other extracurricular activities. This role ensures a safe and orderly environment for students, staff, and visitors while upholding the school's policies and values.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Monitor school grounds and event spaces to ensure a safe environment for all attendees.
  • Provide crowd control and enforce school policies at school-sponsored events.
  • Supervise student behavior and ensure compliance with school rules.
  • Assist in handling disruptive situations calmly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with school administration and event staff to address security concerns.
  • Respond to emergencies and assist in implementing safety protocols as needed.
  • Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the event.
  • Secure school property and facilities after events, ensuring all attendees have safely departed.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and visitors regarding security-related matters.

Substitute Teacher

Saint Joseph’s is seeking dedicated and experienced Substitute Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in working with students in grades 6 through 12 and proficient in using educational technology and digital tools.
