Who We Are, Welcome!
Thank you for your interest in St. Joseph’s Catholic School. Having arrived at St. Joseph’s in 2000 as head of school, I have watched our students develop into confident young men and women who are academically and socially competent and morally and spiritually rooted.
There are easier paths than a St. Joseph’s middle and high school education. Our teachers expect a great deal from our students, both academically and personally, but they also roll up their sleeves and get into the academic trenches with their students. Not surprisingly, our students often tell me that what they enjoy most about St. Joseph’s is their daily interaction with their teachers. At St. Joseph’s, you will discover a truly unique atmosphere of mutual respect, understanding, and love between the teachers and their students.
Underlying everything we do at St. Joseph’s is the Catholic mission of the school. No one better summaries this mission than Pope John Paul II of blessed memory when he wrote: “Catholic education is above all a question of communicating Christ, of helping to form Christ in the lives of others…The cause of Catholic education is the cause of Jesus Christ and of His Gospel at the service of man.“
Our college and young adult alumni visit us often to thank us for how well prepared they were for college and for life. They were challenged academically and guided personally and spiritually by the faculty and staff of St. Joseph’s Catholic School, enabling them to succeed in their future endeavors.
I invite you to give us a call, arrange a tour and meet our teachers and staff that our shaping the minds, hearts, and souls of its students in the likeness of Christ.
Sincerely,
Keith F. Kiser
Head of School
