Annual Fund

By giving to the Annual Fund, you are ensuring we continue to fulfill our mission to pursue academic excellence and to form the minds, hearts, and souls of our students in the likeness of Christ.

Thank you for your financial support of St. Joseph’s! The Annual Fund provides approximately 7% of the school’s budget that is not covered by tuition. These dollars are raised every year through the generosity of our community, and provide tuition assistance, support for academic programs, athletics, fine arts, campus ministry, and enrich student life.

“We made that first contribution out of a sense of duty, but we have continued our donations over the years out of gratitude. We are so thankful for the faculty and what they do for our children. We give to the Annual Fund with the hope that it will both make the faculty’s job easier and enable more students to experience the blessings of a St. Joseph’s education.”

FAQs

How can I give to the Annual Fund?

There are two primary ways of giving: through the Annual Fund Campaign kicked off in the fall, and through participation in our spring Annual Auction Gala. Between these two events, we hope to achieve 100% participation. Contributions can be made at any time throughout the year by using the Donations link or downloadable form.

Who contributes to the Annual Fund?

Contributors include the faculty and staff, Board of Trustees, parents, grandparents, alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations. Individuals often solicit a matching corporate gift from their employers as well.

Why doesn't tuition cover these expenses?

St. Joseph’s strives to keep tuition accessible, financial aid available, and to provide a rich Catholic education experience for our students and their families. The Annual Fund is the best means of simultaneously achieving these goals.

Are Annual Fund gifts tax-deductible?

Yes. Please contact Kevin Meyer, Director of Development, if you have specific questions.

Can I designate my gift to a particular area of the school?

Yes, you can designate your gift for Tuition Assistance, Academics, Athletics, Fine Arts, Campus Ministry, Student Life, or Greatest Current Need.

Is there a minimum or maximum gift amount?

There is no minimum or maximum gift amount – all financial support for the benefit of our students is wanted, appreciated, and needed, from a one-time $10 gift to an annual gift of $1,000 or more. Those who give at least $1,000 to the Annual Fund during the year are inducted into the Founders Circle.

What is the Founders Circle?

founders_circle

The Founders Circle is a leadership society recognizing those who sustain the Annual Fund with gifts at or above $1,000 during our fiscal year. Founders Circle members enjoy various benefits throughout the year, including a football tailgate party with the Board of Trustees, barbeque event, and a special preview performance of the spring musical.

What is St. Joseph's fiscal year?

The fiscal year at St. Joseph’s Catholic School begins each July 1st and ends with the academic year-end of June 30th.

If you have further questions, please contact Kevin Meyer, Director of Development.
