The Mary Lou Foody Memorial Library and Media Center supports St. Joseph’s students in librarytheir pursuit of knowledge by providing a continually expanding collection of more than 12,000 items. Holdings include books and research materials relevant to our curriculum, a growing youth literature section, numerous weekly and monthly periodicals, daily subscriptions to local and national newspapers, on-line subscriptions to select academic sites such as Discus, Noodle Tools, and JSTOR, and a wide assortment of videos, DVDs and CDs. Additionally, the center is equipped with Dell laptops which students can use for research and other academic purposes. More than 30 iPads and 30 Chromebooks are kept in mobile carts for check out to classrooms. The SJCS grandparent advocacy group, The St. Anne’s Society, assists with the ongoing fundraising efforts to increase our holdings.
