About SJCS
St. Joseph's Catholic School is a private,
Roman Catholic co-educational college-preparatory school located in
Greenville, SC. Founded in 1993 in response to the need for Catholic
secondary education in Upstate South Carolina, the school has rapidly
expanded its enrollment, facilities, and programs since that time. A
middle school was added in August of 2003.
- Enrollment for the 2006-2007 academic year includes 463 students in grades six through twelve.
- Located on a beautiful 36-acre campus, its three
buildings provide over 125,000 square feet, along with an on-site
athletic complex. Centrally located within Greenville County, the
campus is also accessible to neighboring cities such as Spartanburg and
Anderson with its close proximity to Interstate 85.
- The school offers a traditional, college preparatory,
liberal arts curriculum, including the arts, the humanities, the
sciences, and a complete program of Catholic theology. In addition,
students may choose from a multitude of co-curricular sports,
activities, and clubs represented on campus.
