KNIGHTS HELP NORTH TO ALL-STAR SOCCER VICTORY

Recent St. Joseph’s Catholic School graduates Connor Stein and Robbie Cromley helped the North record a 4-1 victory in the 31st North-South Soccer Classic Saturday, June 22 at T.L. Hanna High School.

Connor was the only goalkeeper chosen for the North squad, so he played all 40 minutes and allowed only one goal against the talented South all-stars. He also served as a co-captain for the North.

Robbie assisted on one of the goals for the North.

“It was a convincing win,” said SJCS coach Frank Kucinic, who served as an assistant for the North. “This is the first time that we had two selections play in the North-South game, so St. Joseph’s was very well represented this year.”
