Would your son or daughter like to see what life is like at St. Joe’s?  Students currently in grades 5-7 are encouraged to visit our middle school for a half day of classes and lunch on November 6th. Greenville County Schools have this day off, and we open up our middle school classrooms to visitors on this day to allow prospective or current middle school students the chance to spend time on our campus as the guest of one of our students. Don’t know a St. Joe’s middle school student? No worries! We will find a host for your child.


DEADLINE TO REGISTER: Parents of visiting students must complete the online form no later than Friday, October 26, 2018.  Due to classroom size, we reserve the right to limit the number of visitors, and forms will be accepted on a “first come, first served” basis. We have been filled to capacity in years’ past, and in order to adequately plan for this event, we simply cannot accept requests after October 26th.

FRIEND ATTENDS/DOES NOT ATTEND SJCS: If your child has a middle school friend who currently attends SJCS, and this SJCS friend has agreed to host your son/daughter, please indicate that on the registration form, along with the name of this friend’s parent and email address. If your child does not know a SJCS middle school student but would like to attend this event, please indicate this option on the registration form and we will pair him/her up with a current SJCS middle school student who has volunteered to host.

TWO HALF-DAY SESSIONS: Indicate your choice of morning or afternoon session (see arrival and pickup times below). When one session fills up, you will be notified that your child will need to attend the other session.  

DRESS GUIDELINES: Visitors may dress casually and may wear denim. Visitors should also wear tennis shoes to participate in PE class.

LUNCH: Please indicate your child’s lunch option on the registration form, indicating whether your child will bring a bag lunch or $5.00 to purchase food in our cafeteria. This will assist us in planning how much food to have on hand that day. Our chef will be offering chicken fingers and mac & cheese on this day as the featured entrée; other food items are available for purchase.

FRONT OFFICE CHECK-IN AND PICK-UP: All friends are visitors; therefore, friends must check in and be picked up at the Front Office. Friends may not enter or exit through any other door.  

ARRIVAL/PICK-UP TIMES: Morning session visitors should arrive at 7:30 AM and must be picked up at 11:20 AM. Afternoon session visitors should arrive by 10:30 AM and must be picked up at 3:00 PM. Visitors may attend only one session (either morning or afternoon) in order to leave spots open for all students who wish to attend.
