Worship in Student Life
At St. Joseph’s, opportunities for worship and growing in relationship with Jesus Christ extend far beyond the weekly all-school Mass on Wednesday afternoons! Over these first few weeks of school, it has been a true joy to see the student body taking advantage of the many occasions to grow in their faith together.
One such example was this morning, the first Agape group meeting for sunrise service. Over a dozen SJCS students got up extra early to start their Friday morning off together, the sun cresting the hill as they raised their voices in songs of praise and worship! Agape is a student-led group, one of the beautiful outgrowths of our Campus Ministry program.
Thanks to our full-time chaplain, Fr. Duncan, St. Joseph’s also is blessed with a rich sacramental life. Students can be seen attending daily Mass every day of the week, joining in Morning Prayer and Adoration on Thursdays, as well as taking advantage of the sacrament of Confession.
