Fun Study for Psychology Class

Students in Meby Carr’s Psychology class recently carried out an activity to illustrate the aspects of a double-blind study. By taking turns being blindfolded and tasting different flavors of unmarked soda and chips, in which neither participant or the experimenter knew the outcome of the study, the students learned in a fun and tasty way that the purpose of this kind of study is to eliminate the power of suggestion and bias.
